YEAR-END REMINDER
All 2011 HVAC promotions ended on December 31st. This includes all Goodman and Amana rebate and warranty programs. To be eligible for consumer rebates, all equipment must have been purchased on or before December 31st. Equipment purchased in 2012 will not qualify. All rebate claims must be submitted by January 15th, 2012. No exceptions.
To be eligible for warranty promotions, all equipment must have been purchased and installed on or before December 31st. Equipment purchased and installed in 2012 will not qualify. Warranty plans must be purchased in ServiceBench for qualifying installations by January 15th, 2012. No exceptions.

AIR SYSTEMS MEASUREMENT AND DESIGN
This course is designed to give insight in troubleshooting constant air volume duct systems, giving the technician the ability to identify problems and correct them. The student will learn how to make air measurements, how air moves, and how to verify and correct air system problems. Upon the completion the student will be able to identify the properties of air, speeds, quantities, pressure drops, balance distribution, proper fittings, and identify different types of duct systems.

SETTING UP AN OIL BURNER
One of the most important issues facing the oil heat industry today is the need for qualified, well-trained technicians who can set-up new equipment accurately and keep existing systems operating efficiently. This hands-on training session will cover the basic components of an oil burner, its proper setup using instruments, and explanations of the resultant readings.

REGIONAL TRAINING: THE TRUTH BEHIND R-410A,
MOISTURE, AND HFC REFRIGERANTS
Mid-Atlantic area HVAC/R Technicians are invited to the HVAC Program of Thaddeus Stevens College as Paul Appler, Cliplight’s Directory of Research, will present a seminar on the hot topics concerning R410A and moisture problems associated with it and other HFC refrigeration systems. The schedule will include a two-hour discussion of the challenges associated with moisture removal and proper evacuation techniques.
